Applications are open to teams (not companies) composed of 2 to 5 individuals who have obtained a Bachelor’s or a Master’s in 2022 or will graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in 2023/2024.

The application is open to individuals based all over the world.

The Young Talent Luxury Innovation Awards accepts various types of project applications, including business plans, group projects, master or bachelor theses, and innovative business ideas. While there are no specific guidelines on the type of project that can be submitted, the application must be presented in a PDF format, preferably as a PowerPoint presentation.

1. You have obtained your Bachelor’s or Master’s in the year 2022, OR you will obtain your Bachelor’s or Master’s in the year 2023/2024.
2. You don’t have any company incorporated yet when applying.
3. Your project, concept, idea must be within the luxury industry or designed to service the luxury industry specifically.

Initiated in 2023, the Young Talent Luxury Innovation Award is a new initiative by the Luxury Venture Group. The Luxury Venture Group is a Swiss-based venture capital, and acceleration vehicle that selects, promotes and invests in the startup & growth phase of luxury companies and startups.

There is no specific category for the Young Talent Luxury Innovation Award as far as the project submitted is within the Luxury industry or servicing it specifically. However, applicants should focus on one or more of the below criteria:

• Craftsmanship/Excellence
• Innovation
• Rarity/Exclusivity
• Customer Experience
• Sustainability/Social Responsibility
• Technology/ Digitalization

The five finalists teams will all pitch via Zoom.

The LVG award committee and jury voting will select the winning team out of the five finalists teams.

No, submitted materials are only accessible to the LVG award committee and Jury. The general public will not have access to any submitted materials.

The application is in English. All the pitching materials should also be in English.

The selection process will cover the following steps

• Register and apply online, and create your team’s profile
• The LVG Award Committee will review your application and select five teams as finalists
• Zoom calls will be conducted with finalists and the LVG award committee and jury to select three winning team.
• The winners’ names will be announced, and the Winner’s Certificate will be handed over in a global award ceremony during the Luxury Innovation Summit 2023.

FINALISTS will receive instructions regarding the pitching schedule (from 17 to 24 July 2023). The pitching zoom call for each finalist will consist of a 6-minute pitching presentation with slides and a 10-minutes Q&A.

No, the application is free of charge.

There is no prize money. During the Luxury Innovation Summit in Geneva, the five teams selected as finalists will gain direct access to some of the luxury industry’s leading investors and decision-makers. Global media coverage, interviews, and a showcase of the finalists’ projects at the booth of the Young Talent Awards during the Summit will give high visibility to all the finalists and the winning team.

All five finalists’ teams will receive two tickets for free for the entire Summit (18-20 September 2023)
Gala Dinner Invitation is not included.

All applicants will receive two online passes to join the event virtually and do the networking via the Summit Attendee Portal.
